Q: How to install the App?
• Via QR Code Scanning:
• Find the QR code on the product manual of Wave Call 3 for installing the boAt Crest App on your device.
• Open the QR Code Scanner app on your device and scan the code present on the user manual as well as inside the watch settings.
• Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the boAt Crest app on your device.
• Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store:
• On Google Play or the Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Crest’ and enter search.
• You will see the boAt Crest app in the search result list.
• Click on the install button to install the boAt Crest app on your media device.
Q: How to connect the device with the App?
• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 14.0 and above.
• Download the boAt Crest application from Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the app, and you will find the Wave Call 3 smartwatch in the available device list.
• Click on the WAVECALL 3\_XXXX to pair the Wave Call 3 Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process, after which the Wave Call 3 smartwatch will start syncing with the app.
• The smartwatch is unable to connect with the phone
• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 14.0 and above.
• Download the boAt Crest application from Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the app, and you will find the Wave Call 3 smartwatch in the available device list.
• Click on the WAVECALL 3\_XXXX to pair the Wave Call 3 Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process, after which the Wave Call 3 smartwatch will start syncing with the app.
• The smartwatch often disconnects from the watch
• The operational distance for Bluetooth is 7-10 m.
• It is ideal that a phone and watch are in direct contact with each other.
• If Bluetooth is still disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on Bluetooth, and start the app again.
• Make sure the app is running in the background.
• The smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low
• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable to the charging pad of the watch, which is located on the back of the watch.
• Connect the other end, which is a USB-A end, to a 5V 2A rated power adapter, power bank or computer.
• The Wave Call 3 display would show charging status and charging percentage while charging.
• Note: If the Wave Call 3 is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less, as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than 5V 2A rated power adapter.
• Before using Wave Call 3 for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Any other accessories could be used for charging if the above norms (5V 2A) are followed.
• The data is taking too long to sync on the app
• To sync the data to the app, go to the app’s homepage and drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process, and data will be synced to the app.
• Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and that your watch and app are nearby when you are syncing the data.
• If the app is taking too long to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device from the app and reconnect again.
• If you continue to have data sync issues, please restart your phone and try again.
• The smartwatch is not getting call or message notifications
• Make sure call alert and message alert are enabled from the app.
• Sync the watch after enabling these features.
• Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone.
• Try uninstalling and installing the boAt Crest and then start the binding process with the watch and check whether the issue is persisting or not.
• Reset the watch and check whether the function is working or not.
• I cannot control music from the watch
• Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)
• Note 1: Make sure you enable music control from the app first.
• Note 2: Make sure the watch is connected with the app.
• The lift up gesture not responding
• We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.
• The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.
• I cannot to see the sleep data on the watch
• Short press the side button >> sleep >> view sleep record.
• To see the detailed sleep pattern, sync your watch with the app
• The heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well
• Check if the user has hair, a tattoo, skin complexion, or scarring; wearing the watch too loosely or too tightly might affect the readings.
• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly, the sensor should glow in green colour.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.
• The heart rate, spO2, are not showing accurate data
• SpO2 and heart rate monitoring are only for reference.
• Data may not match with the medical equipment.
• This watch is not medical equipment.
• The watch show the step count even when I am not walking
• Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist.
• If you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement, then the step count can be affected.
• I am not able to set watch face from the app

Q: How do I enable Bluetooth calling on the app?
• Bluetooth calling is a primary function once the watch is paired to the app. The pairing process enables the Bluetooth of the device and binds the watch to the app.
Q: How do I sync the data with the smartwatch?
• To sync the data to the app, go to the app’s homepage and drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process, and data will be synced to the app.
Q: What permissions are needed for proper syncing?
• It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and permissions, including the location services, when setting up the app.
Q: Can I use the watch out of range of my phone’s Bluetooth?
• Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, calorie counting and sports modes can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.
• The watch has some internal memory to record this data.
• Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

Q: How to Power On the watch?
• Long-press the side button for 3-5 seconds to turn the watch on.
Q: How to Power Off the watch?
• Long-press the side button for 3-5 seconds to turn the watch off.
• Restart: While the watch is on, long-press the side button to select the restart option. Tap on “Restart” to reboot the smartwatch.

Q: How to change the watch faces on the device?
• Method 1: Using the Functional Crown
• Rotate the upper side button to scroll through the default watch faces.
• Stop on the one you want to apply to—it will be set automatically.
• Method 2: Long Press on the Home Screen
• Long-press the home screen for a few seconds.
• Swipe to browse available watch faces.
• Tap the one you want to set as default.
• Method 3: Using the App
• Tap on ‘settings’ on the home dashboard of the app.
• Go to Wave Call 3 settings >> Watch Faces.
• Under the Watch Faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click Apply.
• There are 5 default watch faces available on the watch.
Q: How to control the screen brightness?
• You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen & changing the brightness level.
Health, Calling & Microphone
Q: How to track the heart rate?
• On the app home dashboard, tap on the “Heart rate” icon and you can view all your historical heart rate readings.
• You can view your min. and max. HR for the day.
• You can also access history by tapping on the history icon and can also filter the details on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
• On the watch, go to Heart Rate mode (from the menu) to view your current reading.
Q: How to set the sleep goal?
• Open the ‘boAt Crest’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
• Click on it and go to Settings
• Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option. Please note:- Your sleep goal is indicative of your sleep target, and the watch automatically records the sleep.
Q: How to make an emergency call (SOS)?
• Long-press the side button of your smartwatch to make an SOS call.

Q: How to access the main menu?
• Short Press the side button to enter the main menu.
Q: How to access the shortcut menu?
• Swipe left or right on the home page would lead to shortcut menu
• There are five functions in the shortcut menu- (i) Steps (ii) SpO2 (iii) Heart Rate Monitor (iv) Sleep (v) Music (vi) Notifications
Q: How to do a factory reset?
• Method 1: Using Watch Settings : Go to Settings >> System >> Factory Reset.
• Method 2: Using the App : The Factory Reset feature is available in the app under the troubleshooting section.
Q: What are the different modes / options available on the watch? How to access them?
• While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Wave Call 3. There are the following mode options on the menu of Wave Call 3:
• Steps: For tracking daily activities like step count, distance travelled, etc.
• Heart Rate: For measuring the heart rate of the users.
• Blood Oxygen: For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (SpO2) in the user’s blood.
• Sleep Mode: For measuring the sleep hours of the users.
• Breathing Mode: For breathing exercise of the users.
• Alarm: To set up alarm for the users.
• Music Control Mode: To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music.
• Camera Control Mode: To control the camera from the watch and click photos.
• Timer: To set up a timer for the users when in need.
• Settings: To enter the settings of the watch.
Q: How to track the exercises through sports mode?
• There are multiple activities available, including walking, treadmill, running, badminton, football, basketball, tennis, yoga, etc. You can access any of these.
• Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.
• You can also add more sports activities or hide the activities.
• Swipe right and then click on pause to start/pause that exercise
Q: How to measure the blood oxygen level?
• You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app
• Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2>> Tap measure.
• Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt Crest app
• The user can view the details on the app.
Q: How to control the music?
• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter the music control feature.
• While listening to music, users can play, pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.
• Note: This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.
Q: How to access the camera control feature?
• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Camera Control’ icon on the watch to access the remote camera.
• Click again on the camera icon to open the camera app on the media device.
Q: How to watch the Live Cricket Scores?
• Swipe up on the home page, and you can check the cricket live scores.
Q: How can I add emergency contact for SOS?
• You can add only 1 emergency contact through the boAt Crest app.
• Follow these steps to activate the SOS feature:
• Open the boAt Crest app on your device.
• Navigate to the “Home Dashboard.”
• Locate the “Top Features” section on the dashboard.
• In the “Top Features,” you will find the “SOS” feature. Click on it to access the SOS functionality.
Q: How can I use the Turn-by-turn navigation feature?
• Go to “Settings” from the main menu and click on the “Watch Features”.
• Tap on “Turn-by-Turn Navigation”.
• Grant permissions for “Location”, disable “App Pause”, and enable “Background Activity”.
• In the search bar, search for the place you wish to navigate to.
• Tap on “Get Directions”.
• Tap on “Preview” to check the route before starting navigation.
• To begin turn-by-turn navigation on your watch, tap on “Navigate on Watch”.

• This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of breathing.
• It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do breathing exercises (Inhale/Exhale pattern) for selected duration and rhythm.

• There are multiple activity modes on the watch.

• Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode.
Q: There are green and red lights blinking on the bottom side of the watch. What are those for?
• The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate. There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.
• Red light is the blood oxygen sensor.

• Yes, it can be changed.
