The boAt Aavante Bar 1600d delivers 160W RMS 2.1 channel cinema audio with Dolby Audio digital decoding, a 5.25-inch wired subwoofer, Bluetooth v5.0, HDMI (ARC), Optical audio, USB playback, 3.5mm AUX, and EQ presets for a cinematic living room experience.
Firmly connect the 5.25″ subwoofer cable into the ‘SUB OUT’ port on the soundbar’s rear panel.
Connect HDMI to TV’s ARC port → Set TV Audio Output to PCM or Dolby Digital → Enable HDMI-CEC.
Connect Optical cable between TV Optical Out and soundbar OPT IN. Select OPT on the remote.
Press BT → find ‘Aavante Bar 1600d’ → pair.

Connect via HDMI (ARC). Set TV audio output to Dolby Digital or PCM. When Dolby content plays, the soundbar decodes it automatically.
1. Use the ARC-labeled HDMI port on your TV.
2. Set TV audio output to PCM.
3. Enable HDMI-CEC.
4. Power cycle both devices.
PCM sends stereo audio; Dolby Digital sends 5.1 surround audio when available. For the Aavante Bar 1600d, either works since the soundbar decodes both.
Reduce the BASS level using the BASS- button. Avoid placing the subwoofer in corners or near walls which can amplify distortion at extreme volumes.
Use the BASS +/- buttons on the remote control to independently adjust subwoofer output level.
Press BT on the remote. Search for ‘Aavante Bar 1600d’ on your phone Bluetooth list and tap to connect.
Ensure the soundbar is in BT mode (LED flashing). Check phone is in Bluetooth scan mode. Stay within 10 meters.
Hold POWER for 5–8 seconds until the unit restarts. All saved pairings are cleared.
Replace batteries. Point directly at soundbar IR sensor. Remove obstructions within 5 meters.
