Q: How to Install the boAt Bridge App?

• ​Process 1: Via QR Code
• Find the QR code on the product manual of Enigma Z20 for installing the Bridge App on the media devices of the users.
• Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Enigma Z20
• Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the Bridge App on the user’s device.
• Process 2: ​Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store
• On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Bridge App’ and enter search.
• You will see the boAt Bridge app in the search result list.
• Click on the install button to install boAt Bridge app on the user’s media device.

Q: How to connect the Watch Enigma Z20 with the Bridge App?

• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 10 and above.
• Download the boAt Bridge application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Enigma Z20 smartwatch in the available device list.
• Click on the ENIGMAZ20\_BT to pair the ENIGMA Z20 Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process after which the ENIGMA Z20 Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

Q: What to do if the smart watch is not able to connect with the App?

• Keep the boAt Bridge app updated to the latest version
• Close all the programs on the watch → Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS → Connect again
• Check and enable the notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.
• Note: Make sure your phone system meets Android 7.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch often disconnects from the watch?

• The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.
• If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.
• Make sure the app is running in background always.

Q: How to enable Enigma Z20 features via Bridge App?

• Make sure your phone and watch are connected through Bluetooth.
• Click on the BT call icon on the top left corner of the home dashboard (initially it will be red).
• Click on Pair Now.
• A popup for pairing with ENIGMAZ20\_BT should come. Click on Pair & connect.
• BT call will be connected now and the BT call icon on the home dashboard will appear green

Charging & Battery Life

Q: How to charge Watch Enigma Z20 ?

• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.
• The watch’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.
• Note : If the watch is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V/2A rated power adapter

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.
• Try cleaning the charging pins with an alchohol swab / a cotton bud dipped slighly in sanitizer spirit. Once cleaned, wipe the surface with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on it.
• Ensure that the charger specification is of 5V 2A (Output)

Q: ​ How to check battery charge status?

• ​Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Enigma Z20’s battery.

Q: What are the charging norms and guidelines?

• Before using the Watch Enigma Z20 for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specifications of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Enigma Z20 as long as the above norms are followed.
• The Watch Enigma Z20 is receiving no alerts, texts or phone calls
• Make sure the smart reminders on the app are On and synced to the Enigma Z20.
• Also, ensure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then your smart watch will display those notifications.
• Ensure that the App is running in the background and battery optimization feature on the phone is disabled.
• The watch shows step count even if I am not walking
• Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected
• The data is taking too long to sync on the app
• Before using the Watch Enigma Z20 for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Enigma Z20 as long as the above norms are followed.
• The watch is not powering On
• Long press the side button and check if the watch is switching on or not. Flicking the wrist is enabling waking up the watch display or not.
• Check to charge the watch fully with the magnetic charging cable supplied with it via 5V 2A charging adapter or via a power bank or via a computer.
• Clean the charging pins with an alcohol swab and then connect with the charger to check if the watch started taking charge

Q: How to power On / Off the watch?

• Power On :
• Long press the side button of the Enigma Z20 it would lead to turning the watch on
• Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch
• Power Off : While the Enigma Z20 on, long press on the side button for shut down power off option, this would lead to turning the watch off.

Display, Features & Performance

Q: How to control the screen brightness?

• You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen & change the brightness level or by the settings feature in the smart watch
• Go to settings>Display> Brightness and change the brightness accordingly

Q: How to change the watch face?

• There are 10 default watch faces available on the watch. Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, select and add your preferred watch face.
• You can also select and change the watch face from the Settings in the smartwatch.
• Go to Settings>Display>Watch Faces. And select your desired watch face

Q: What is the water resistance level of Enigma Z20?

• The water resistance level of the smartwatch is IP68

Health, Calling & Microphone

Q: How to track the heart rate?

• On the App home dashboard> Tap on “Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings.
• You can view your Min and Max HR for the day. You can also access the history through the app by tapping on the history icon and can also filter the details based on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis.

Q: How to access voice assistant?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Voice Assistant ‘icon on the watch to enable voice assistant feature on the Enigma Z20 Watch
• Give the command from your smartwatch.
• Make sure that the watch is connected with the app

Q: How to access Sleep mode?

• Open the ‘boAt Bridge’ app
• Click on the sleep details and go to Settings and
• Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option (Note : Your sleep goal is indicative of your sleep target, and the watch automatically records the sleep)
• Open the ‘boAt Bridge’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
• Click on it and go to Settings and
• Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option.

Device Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Is the lift up gesture not working?

• We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid
• The watch is unable to record/ incorrectly records the sleep data
• Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.
• Sleep data is estimated primarily by the movements. Once you lay down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.
• The heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well
• Check if the user is having hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.
• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.
• The watch shows step count even when I am not walking
• Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.
• The blood Pressure is not showing accurate data
• Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.
• The time displayed on my phone and on the Enigma Z20 are inconsistent
• Make sure your watch is connected to your phone through the app and not your phone’s Bluetooth feature itself.

Q: I am not able to control the music from my watch?

• Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)
• Note 1: Make sure you enable player from the app first.

Q: How to navigate to the main menu?

• Short Press the side button to enter the main menu

Q: How to enter in to different modes / options?

• While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Enigma Z20
• There are following mode options on the menu of the Enigma Z20
• Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.
• Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood
• Sleep Mode : For measuring the sleep hours of the users
• Women Health : To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users
• Alarm : To set up alarm for the users
• Music Control : To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music (Note :This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols)
• Call Records : To view recently received, missed and outgoing call logs
• Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need
• Setting : To enter in to the settings of the watch.

Q: How to track the exercises?

• There are 20 sports modes available in the watch Walking, Running, Mountaineering, Riding, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Elliptical, Yoga, Table tennis, Rope skipping, Tennis, Baseball, Rugby, Hula hoop, Golf, Long jump, Sit-ups, and volleyball.
• Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.
• Swipe right or short press the side button to start/pause that exercise

Q: How to measure the blood oxygen level?

• You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app.
• Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2>> Tap measure.
• Post your measurement, please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt Bridge app

Q: How to control the music?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter the music control feature.
• While listening to music users can play, Pause, move back to previous track, jump forward to next track, and control the volume of the music.
• Note : This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.

Q: How to access the shortcut menu?

• Swipe left on the home page would lead to shortcut menu
• There are 4 functions in the shortcut menu by default- (i) Daily Activity (ii) Heart Rate Monitor (iii) Phone (iv) Sleep
• You can also customise the data according to your preferences.

Q: How to track the menstrual cycle through “Women Health”?

• You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app
• Short press the side button from the watch home screen >> Go to Stress>> Tap measure.
• You can track your menstrual cycle on the watch screen.

Q: Does the watch have a camera control feature?

• Yes, the Enigma Z20 has a camera control feature

Q: How many activities modes can be accessed at once?

• There are total 20 modes that you can select.

Q: There are green lights blinking on the bottom side of the watch. What are those for?

• The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate. There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.
• Red light is the blood oxygen sensor
