Q: How do I Install the boAt Wearables App?

• Process 1: Via QR Code Scanning

• Connect the device with the boAt Wearables App

• Select Lunar Link on the home screen of the app and click on “Pair” to connect

• Once you are connected, there will be another prompt on the app screen to connect with classic Bluetooth. Tap on pair to connect with CALL BT and use the Bluetooth Calling feature.

• To use all features of your Lunar Link seamlessly. Tap on “Yes” to the “Connection” and “Grant Access” system prompt

• Turn your phone’s Bluetooth and GPS On

• DIsable battery optimization

• Process 2: Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store

• On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Wearables App’ and enter search.

• You will see the boAt Wearables app in the search result list.

• Click on the install button to install boAt Wearables app on the user’s media device.

Q: How can I connect the Watch Lunar Link with the Wearables App?

• Step 1: After installing the boAt Wearables app, turn the watch Lunar Link on and open the Wearables app on the user’s device. Click on the ‘Start Setup’ on the Wearables app to switch on the Bluetooth on the user’s device. Accept the privacy policy to continue.

• Step 2: The previous process would enable the user to search for the Watch Lunar Link to connect with the Wearables app as it would enable the Bluetooth of the device.

• Step 3: Once the Watch Lunar Link is found via Bluetooth, it will show on the Wearables app. Click on the ‘Lunar Link’ Device and then click on the ‘Pair’ button to start paring Watch Lunar Link with the boAt Wearables app. Once the connection is successful all the fitness data stored on the Watch Lunar Link will sync automatically on the Wearables app.

• Note: Do not connect you smart watch directly with your phone’s Bluetooth. Connect it through the “boAt Wearabless App” in your phone

Q: What to do if the watch fails to connect with the App?

• Check to see if the device with which is trying to connect Watch Lunar Link are using Android 4.4/ iOS 8.0 or above OS version in their respective devices.

• Check if users have downloaded and installed boAt Wearables app their smartphones or not. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the T&C and permissions including the location services on the device.

• Make sure the Watch Lunar Link in not directly connected with the smartphone’s Bluetooth, the users have to connect it via the boAt Wearables app.

• Make sure the Bluetooth of users’ device is on and try to bind the watch with the boAt Wearables app. Once the device is discoverable, it will display on the app screen, click to connect the device with the app.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch often disconnects from the watch?

• The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

• If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

• Make sure the app is running in background always.

Q: What to do if search to connect keeps failing?

• Keep the boAt Wearabless App updated to the latest version.

• Close all the programs on the watch >> Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS >> Connect again .

• Check and enable notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.

• Note: Make sure your phone supports Android 6.0 and above. The iOS phones should support iOS 12.0 and above.

Q: Which functions of the Lunar Link need Bluetooth to work?

• Functions like Call & Text Notifications, Find My Phone, Music Control, Camera Control, Weather Forecast, Cloud and Custom Watch Faces and Bluetooth Calling need the Bluetooth connectivity to work.

Q: What to do if the data is taking too long to sync on the app?

• Before using the Watch Delta for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

• Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Delta as long as the above norms are followed.

Q: What is the process of enabling Watch features via boAt Wearables App?

• Go to the ‘Device’ on the App and select the Watch from the list >> Click on the ‘SNS Alert’ option >> Thereafter, click on ‘Allow Notifications’ options.

• This will enable the following features-

• (1) Call Alert, (2) Music Control, (3) Find My Phone, (4) Automatic Heart Rate, (5) Wake Gesture, (6) Do-Not-Disturb, (7) Alarms, (8) Health Care (9) Camera Shutter, (9) BT calling switch on

Q: Does it support notifications for particular apps?

• Yes, Lunar Link supports notification alerts for multiple applications, including calls, texts, social media notifications, sedentary & hydration alerts, and alarms. It also supports live cricket scores.

Charging & Battery Life

Q: How to charge Watch Lunar Link ?

• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end which is a USB-A end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

• The watch Lunar Link’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

• If the watch Lunar Link is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V 2A rated power adapter.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• Check if the charging connector (magnetic pins) behind the watch as well as on the charging cable is clean and rust free.

• Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab.

Q: How to check battery charge status?

• Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Lunar Link’s battery.

Q: What are the charging norms and guidelines?

• Before using the Watch Lunar Link for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

Health, Calling & Microphone

Q: How to troubleshoot if the calling feature is not working on my watch?

• Make sure your watch is connected to both: your App and your the phone’s Bluetooth. If not, search for CALL BT in the phone’s Bluetooth setting, pair the watch with it. Also, make sure that the call notification is enabled from the App.

• In idle mode, the watch will disable the classic Bluetooth 3.0 to save the battery

Q: What to do if the Watch Lunar Link is receiving no alerts, texts or phone calls?

• Make sure the smart reminders on the app are On and synced to the Lunar Link.

• Also, ensure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then your smart watch will display those notifications.

• Make sure that the App is running in the background and battery optimization feature on the phone is disabled.

Q: What to do if unable to record sleep data or records incorrectly?

• Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

• Sleep data is estimated primarily by the movements. Once you lay down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.

Q: What to so if the heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well. What can be the issue?

• Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Q: Why does the watch show the step count even when I am not walking?

• Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

Q: Is my Watch Lunar Link waterproof? Can I use it during shower?

• Lunar Link comes with IP68 Water resistance which makes it perfect for use in any environment.

• The IP68 water resistance will only work under the following conditions:

• Maximum depth of water: 1.5m

• Maximum time for exposure to water: 10 minutes

• The watch is not suitable for hot bath, hot springs, saunas, snorkeling, diving, water skiing and other wading or deep water activities with high-speed water flow
