Q: How to install the boAt Sync App?

• Lunar Peak needs boAt Sync app to be installed on the users’ media devices. It is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store to be downloaded and installed into the users’ devices to use
• and utilise the Lunar Peak’s full functionality-
• Step 1: Via QR Code Scanning
• Find the QR code on the product manual of the Lunar Peak for installing the boat Sync App on the media devices of the users.
• Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Lunar Peak.
• Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the boat Sync app on the user’s device.
• Step 2: Via searching the App on Google Play or Apple Play Store​
• On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search-bar, type ‘boAt Sync’ and enter search.
• You will see the boat Sync app in the search result list.
• Click on the install button to install boat Sync app on the user’s media device.

Q: How to connect the device with the App?

• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above.
• Download the boAt Sync application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and
• conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Lunar Peak smartwatch in the available device list.
• Click on the STORMCALL2\_XXXX to pair the Lunar Peak Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process after which the Lunar Peak smartwatch will start syncing with the app.
• The above process would enable the user to search for the Lunar Peak to connect with the Sync app as it would enable the Bluetooth of the device.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is unable to connect with the phone?

• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and permissions, including the location services also.
• Download the boAt Sync application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions. It is recommended to keep the battery saver Off.
• Register your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Lunar Peak
• Smartwatch in the available device list. Click on the STORMCALL2BT pair the Wave Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process after which the Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch often disconnects from the watch?

• The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.
• If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.
• Make sure the app is running in background always.

Q: Can I use the watch out of range of my phone’s Bluetooth?

• Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, spO2, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.
• Watch has some internal memory to record this data.
• Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

Q: Why is the data is taking too long to sync on the app?

• In order to sync the data to the boAt Sync app, connect the Lunar Peak to the media device via the boat Sync app and go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.
• Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and Sync app are nearby when you are syncing the data
• If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.
• Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

Q: Why am I not able to set watch face from the app?

• In order to access watch faces from the app, users should log in to the app first.

Charging & Battery Life

Q: How to charge the smartwatch?

• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end which is an USB-A end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.
• The Lunar Peak display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.
• Note:
• If the Lunar Peak is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V 2A rated power adapter

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.
• Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab and dry the cleaned surface with a dry cotton to ensure there is no moisture retained.
• Now plug in the charger (Output = 5V 2A) and let it charge.

Q: How to check battery charge status?

• Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the Lunar Peak

Q: What are the charging norms and guidelines?

• Before using the Watch Lunar Peak for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Lunar Peak as long as the above norms are followed.

Q: How to Power On the watch?

• Long press the side button of the Lunar Peak it would lead to turning the watch on
• Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch

Q: ​How to Power Off the watch?

• While the Lunar Peak is On, long press on the side button for shut down power off option, this would lead to turning the watch off.

Display, Features & Performance

Q: How to change the watch faces on the device?

• There are 7 default watch faces available on the watch. Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, select and add your preferred watch face.
• Tap on ‘settings’ on the home dashboard. Go to Lunar Peak settings > watch Faces. Under the Watch faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click apply.

Q: How to control the screen brightness?

• You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen & change the brightness level.

Health, Calling & Microphone

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not getting call or message notifications?

• Disable the battery optimization feature.
• Make sure smart reminders (call alert and message alert are enabled ) on the app are on and synced to the watch.
• Also make sure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then will your smartwatch also display those notifications.
• Even if the notifications are not coming, switch Off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch On OR restart your phone
• Try uninstalling and re-installing the boAt Sync app, allow all the permissions except for battery optimization & Auto-start and then start binding process with the watch and check if the issue is still persisting. Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

Q: Why am I not able to see the sleep data on the watch?

• Short press side button-> sleep -> view sleep record.
• To see the detailed sleep pattern, sync your watch with the app

Q: Why is the sleep data getting recorded incorrectly?

• Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.
• Measure your night sleep automatically. Sleep duration and classification details (Deep, light, REM,Awake)are available on the watch and the app.
• Sleep will not be recorded if you have sleep time less than 3 hours
• Sync the watch with the app in the morning to view sleep data
• Note: Data might not be recorded correctly if a lot of movement is noticed between 6-8 AM

Q: What to do if the heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well?

• Check if the user is having hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wearing the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.
• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.​

Q: Why is the heart rate, spO2, are not showing accurate data?

• spO2 and Heart Rate monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

Q: Why does the watch show the step count even when I am not walking?

• Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.
• Ensure that your app and the watch are synchronized.

Q: How to track the heart rate?

• On the App home dashboard> Tap on “Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings. You can view your Min and Max HR for the day. You can also access the history by tapping on the history icon and can also filter the details based on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis

Q: How to set the sleep goal?

• Open the ‘boAt Sync’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
• Click on it and go to Settings and
• Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option. Please note:- Your sleep goal is indicative of your sleep target, and the watch automatically records the sleep.
• Open the ‘boAt Sync’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
• Click on it and go to Settings and
• Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option.

Device Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: What to do if the user is not able to control music from the watch?

• Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)
• Note 1: Make sure you enable music control from the app first.
• Note 2: Make sure the watch is connected with the app.

Q: Is the lift up gesture not responding?

• We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.
• The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Q: Does Lunar Peak have camera control feature?

• Yes. Lunar Peak does have a camera control feature.

Q: How many sports mode can be accessed at once?

• There are total 700+ activity modes on the watch.

Q: Can I set the goals on the sports mode?

• Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode.

Q: There are green and red lights blinking on the bottom side of the watch. What are those for?

• The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate.
• There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information. Red light is the blood oxygen sensor.

Q: How does the breathe mode work?

• This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of breathing. Breath exercise (Inhale/Exhale pattern) on the watch for selected duration and rhythm
• It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do breathing exercises.

Q: How to access the main menu?

• Short press the side button from the home screen would lead to opening the menu.

Q: What are the different modes / options available on the watch? How to access them?

• While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on the Lunar Peak.
• There are following mode options on the menu of the Lunar Peak –
• Steps : For tracking daily activities like step count, distance travelled, etc by the users.
• Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.
• Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood
• Sleep Mode : For measuring the sleep hours of the users
• Breathing Mode : For breathing exercise of the users
• Alarm : To set up alarm for the users
• Music Control Mode : To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music
• Note:- This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.
• Camera Control Mode : To control the camera from the watch and click photos
• Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need
• Settings : To enter into the settings of the watch

Q: How to track the exercises through sports mode?

• There are 700+ activities modes available in the watch Walking, treadmill, running, badminton, football, basketball, Tennis, yoga, etc. You can access any out of these.
• Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.
• You can also add more sports activities or hide the activities.
• Swipe right and then click on pause to start/pause that exercise

Q: How to measure the blood oxygen level?

• You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app
• Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2>> Tap measure.
• Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt Sync app

Q: How to control the music?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature.
• While listening to music users can play, Pause, move back to previous track, jump forward to next track and control the volume of the music.
• Note: – This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.

Q: How to access the camera control feature?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Camera Control’ icon on the watch to access remote camera on the Lunar Peak Watch
• Click again on the camera icon to open the camera app on the media device.

Q: How to watch the Live Cricket Scores?

• Swipe Up on the home page and you can check the cricket live scores.

Q: How to access the shortcut menu?

• Swipe left or right on the home page would lead to shortcut menu
• There are five functions in the shortcut menu- (i) Steps (ii) SpO2 (iii) Heart Rate Monitor (iv) Sleep (v) Music (vi) Notifications

Q: Is the watch water proof?

• The water resistance level of the Lunar Peak smartwatch is IP67.
