How to Control Your Rockerz 255 ANC
Power On/Off
Power ON: Separate the magnetic buds from each other (blue LED flash)
Power OFF: Connect the magnetic buds together (red LED blink)
Volume Control
Increase: Short press volume + button
Decrease: Short press volume – button
Tone plays at max/min volume
Music Playback
Play/Pause: Short press MFB
Next Track: Long press volume + (2 sec)
Previous Track: Long press volume – (2 sec)
Call Management
Answer Call: Short press MFB
End Call: Short press MFB
Voice Assistant: Short press MFB 3 times
Pairing & Connectivity
Initial Pairing
- Press and hold MFB for 3 seconds to power on and enter pairing mode
- Blue and red LEDs flash alternately
- Open Bluetooth on your device and search for ‘boAt Rockerz 255 ANC’
- Select the device from the list
- Enter passcode: 0000 or 1234
- Blue LED flashes every 10 seconds when connected
Dual Pairing (Connect 2 Devices)
- Pair the first device as described above
- Switch off both earphones and the first device’s Bluetooth
- Turn on the earphones
- Turn on the second device’s Bluetooth
- Search and pair ‘boAt Rockerz 255 ANC’
- Turn on the first device’s Bluetooth – it reconnects automatically
Charging & Battery
How to Charge
Use the provided USB Type-C cable with a 5V/2A charger
- Connect USB Type-C cable to the earphones
- Connect to a wall adapter or power bank
- Red LED indicates charging
- LED turns off when fully charged (~50 minutes)

Troubleshooting Guide
Connectivity Issues
Earphones not connecting via Bluetooth
- Check pairing mode: Hold MFB for 5 seconds until red/blue LEDs flash alternately
- Ensure device is within 10m range with no obstructions
- Clear pairing list: Press & hold ANC + Volume Down (-) for 5 seconds
- Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device
- Try entering passcode: 0000 or 1234
One side not working or disconnecting frequently
- Clear pairing list: Press & hold ANC + Volume Down (-) for 5 seconds
- Try manually powering On/Off
- Verify connection on different devices
Charging Issues
Earphones not charging
- Test the cable on another device
- Use only 5V/2A charger
- Clean charging port with cotton swab if clogged
- Verify red LED is solid during charging, turns off when fully charged
Audio & Sound Issues
Sound is distorted, low volume, or low bass
- Check device equalizer settings – set to normal/default
- Perform factory reset
- Clean earpieces if clogged with earwax
- Test with different media players
Microphone Issues
Microphone not working
- Restart the neckband
- Perform factory reset: Long press MFB for 10 seconds in power-off mode
- Ensure no obstructions between device and earphones
- Move device closer to rule out range issues
- Clean microphone hole of dirt, dust, or earwax
Factory Reset
⚠️ Note: Before performing a reset, unpair your neckband from all connected devices
- Enter pairing mode (LEDs blinking Red & Blue alternately)
- Press & hold ANC + Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds
- Purple LED flashes for 1 second to confirm successful reset
- Your Rockerz 255 ANC is now reset to factory defaults

Rockerz 255 ANC does feature 60 ms low latency (BEAST™ Mode) which is good for casual gaming. It may not be ideal for professional/competitive gaming which requires even lower latency.
Can I use it for swimming or showers?
While Rockerz 255 ANC has IPX4 water and sweat resistance, they should NOT be submerged in water directly or used for swimming/showers as this may cause damage.
Can I turn off voice prompts?
