Troubleshooting Guide

Connectivity Issues

Headphone not connecting via Bluetooth
  1. Check if the issue happens on different media players/devices or only one specific device
  2. Check if the connected device has any equalizer settings applied
  3. Check for mishandling, broken wires, or exposure to sunlight, fire, or liquid
  4. Check if a button is stuck between the control board and port – use a toothpick to free it
Dual pairing not working
  1. Pair to the first phone as usual, then switch it off, switch the earphone back on into pairing mode, and pair to the second phone
  2. Switch off the earphone once more, then switch it on normally (short press until white light appears) – it should reconnect to the second phone automatically
  3. Find ā€œRockerz 650ā€ in the first phone’s Bluetooth settings and select it to pair – both phones should now be connected
  4. Try dual pairing with other devices to isolate the issue

Charging Issues

Not charging or battery life is low
  1. Test the Type-C cable on another device, or try a different cable
  2. Use a 5V/2A charger with the correct specification
  3. Charge until the red LED turns completely green on the left earcup
  4. Check the battery hasn’t been tampered with or exposed to electrical damage
  5. Clean the charging port with a cotton swab or blow dry it if clogged with dirt
  6. Check the Type-C port pin isn’t damaged or liquid-affected

Sound Issues

Sound is distorted, low volume, low bass, or low quality
  1. Set the connected device’s equalizer to standard/normal
  2. Ensure you’re within 10m Bluetooth range with no obstructions
  3. Check whether distortion happens at all volumes or only at high volume
  4. Test with different media players and devices to isolate the issue
  5. Clean ear wax buildup on the earcups with a cotton swab and mild alcohol, then air dry
Volume changes automatically
  1. Check equalizer settings on the connected device
  2. Test with different media players and devices to isolate the issue
  3. Check if a button is stuck between the control board and port

Power & Control Issues

Headphones won’t turn on, or one earcup isn’t working
  1. Confirm the device is fully charged (red light turns off from steady)
  2. Use only 5V/2A chargers
  3. Check for mishandling, broken wires, or exposure to sunlight/fire
  4. Ensure the earcups are seated properly and volume isn’t at zero
  5. Untangle any twisted cables
Built-in controls not working
  1. Test whether touch controls work while connected to a different device
  2. Forget the headphone in Bluetooth settings and re-pair
  3. Verify the media player supports the headphone’s controls
  4. Check for physical damage or hazard exposure
Voice assistant doesn’t wake up
  1. Check that Google Assistant or Siri is enabled on your paired device
  2. Long press for 2 seconds and release; this may be restricted by default on some devices

Microphone Issues

Microphone not working
  1. Check the microphone isn’t blocked
  2. Hold the microphone at an adequate distance to pick up your voice
  3. Check it wasn’t exposed to sunlight, fire, or liquid beyond its resistance rating
  4. Clean the mic hole with a cotton swab or toothpick if clogged with dirt or sweat, or use a dryer for water
