Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is 80-hour battery realistic?

A: Yes, at 60% volume. Higher volumes and active features (Dolby Audio, calls) reduce playtime. This is approximate range, actual may vary based on usage.

Q: What’s the difference between Dolby Audio and Signature Sound?

A: Dolby Audio provides enhanced, dynamic sound. Signature Sound is boAt’s tuned audio character. Press MFB once in app to toggle between them.

Q: Can I swim with these headphones?

A: No. IPX5 means splash and sweat proof, not waterproof. Do not submerge or use during swimming/showers as it may cause damage.

Q: Does it have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)?

A: No. It has AI-ENx™ Technology for clear calls, but not active noise cancellation. It features good passive isolation though.

Q: Can I turn off voice prompts?

A: No, voice prompts are integrated into the device and cannot be disabled or lowered separately.

Q: What’s ASAP™ Charge?

A: boAt’s fast-charging technology: 10 minutes of charging gives 10 hours of playback. Requires 5V/2A USB Type-C charger for optimal speed.

Q: Is BEAST™ Mode good for gaming?

A: Yes, 60ms low latency is great for casual gaming and video streaming. Not suitable for competitive esports.
