Connectivity & Pairing

Q: How to pair Rockerz 660 with other media devices?

• When switched OFF, press & hold the MFB (multifunction button) for 3 seconds to switch ON the earphones. The earphone will automatically enter the pairing mode with a prompt.

• Open Bluetooth on your device and search for “Rockerz 660” in the list of available devices.

• Choose “Rockerz 660” from the list and if asked then enter the pairing password ‘0000’ to establish Bluetooth connectivity. Once confirmed, the headphone and the phone are connected via Bluetooth.

• Note: If there’s a connection history between the phone and the headphone, then they will automatically get reconnected in a working range.

Q: How to activate dual pairing in Rockerz 660?

• To connect Rockerz 660 to two devices simultaneously, first connect the earphone to one of the devices. Then switch OFF both the earphone and the device.

• Now connect the earphone to the second device and again switch the first device ON. The earphone will get connected to both the devices.

• IF not connected, then connect the first device manually once again to activate dual pairing.

Q: What to do if the headphone is not connecting via Bluetooth?

• Check if the issue is occurring on different media players and in different devices or only in a single device or media player.

• Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

• Check if the buttons are not stuck between the control board and port. Use a tooth pick to pick out the button to bring it back to position.

Q: What to do if the headphone is not able to dual pair?

• Check to pair the Rockerz 660 to first phone per usual pairing procedure, then switch it off. Then switch ON the earphone again and enter pairing mode, enable Bluetooth function in second phone, find earphone’s Pairing Name “Rockerz 660’” and pair to second phone per usual procedure.

• Switch off earphone one more time. Then simply switch on earphone, without entering pairing mode (a short press until white light comes on). The earphone should automatically re-connect to the last connected phone (which is the second phone). Then find headset “Rockerz 660″ in first phone’s Bluetooth setting, select this to pair to first phone. Both phones should now be paired to the earphone.

• Check to try dual pairing with other devices to see if it works with them.

Charging & Battery

Q: How to charge Rockerz 660?

• Use a USB Type C charging cable to charge the earphone through either a laptop or an adaptor.

Q: What to do if the headphone is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• Check to see if the Type C charging cable being used is working and are of specification mentioned in the manual.

• Check the charging of the headphone by using another Type C charging cable or try using the same Type C charging cable on another device to determine if the charging cable is faulty or not.

• Check if the specification (voltage/current) of the charger is correct for the device or not. A 5V, 2A charger should be used to charge the headphone.

• Check if the charging is done till the red LED turns completely green on the left earcup of the headphone.

• Check if the headphone/battery was not tampered with or exposed to any electrical damage.

• Check if the charging port is not clogged with dirt. If so, please clean it with a cotton swab or blow dry it to remove any clogged dirt.

• Check if the pin of the Type C charging port is tampered with or damaged or any liquid damage is present or not.

Q: How to Power ON/OFF Rockerz 660?

• Power ON:

• When switched off, press and hold the Multifunction button for 3 seconds. A voice prompt “Power ON” will confirm the same.

• The Red & Blue LED flashes to indicate the same.

• Power OFF:

• In any mode, press and hold the Multifunction button for 5 seconds. A voice prompt “Power OFF” will confirm the same.

Q: How long does it take to charge? Does it support fast charging?

• Rockerz 660 takes 1H to charge. It does not support fast charging.

Q: Can I charge my headphones with a mobile charger?

• Yes, Rockerz 660 wireless headphones can be charged with a mobile charger.

Sound & Audio Quality

Q: What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?

• Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.

• Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (10m) and if there are any obstructions in between the headphone and the media device or not.

• Check if the device has issues even after moving it closer to the connected device and removing any obstructions.

• Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

• Check the sound quality on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices/media players or only on specific ones.

• Check to see if the earcups have ear wax accumulated or not. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and mild alcohol, after doing so gently blow dry it from a distance.

Q: What to do if the volume of the headphone automatically changes?

• Check if connected media device is having any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.

• Check if the issue is occurring on different media players and in different devices or only in a single device or media player.

• Signature Sound Mode is boAt’s default Bass Mode while Balanced Mode is more suitable for podcasts, news and voice based media.

• You can switch between Signature Sound Mode (Bass Mode) and Balanced Mode by short pressing the EQ button.

Q: How to adjust the volume?

• Tap the volume (+) button to increase the volume to your preference level.

• Tap the volume (-) button to decrease the volume to your preference level.

Q: Does the headphone support low latency?

• No. Rockerz 660 does not support low latency but it can be used for casual gaming, entertainment, streaming etc.

Microphone & Call Functionality

Q: Does Rockerz 660 have a dedicated microphone?

• Yes, Rockerz 660 headphones has a dedicated mic perfect for calls and recording.

Q: What to do if the microphone of the headphone is not working?

• Check to see the microphone is not being blocked.

• Check to see if the microphone is being held at the adequate distance for it to be able to pick up the voice.

• Check if the microphone was not exposed to any hazards like direct sunlight or fire.

• Check if the microphone was not exposed to water above the resistance or dipped in any liquid.

• Check if the mic hole is not clogged with dirt of sweat. If so, use cotton swab or toothpick to clean out the port holes or a dryer to dry out any water that maybe collected.

Q: What to do if the voice assistant does not wake up?

• Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

• Please follow the steps carefully, long press for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device. Though under some circumstance, this featuremay or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

• Check if the earcups are inserted well into our ear canal and the volume is not at zero level
