Q: How to Install the boAt Wearables App?

• Find the QR code on the product manual of Lunar Space for installing the Wearables App on the media devices of the users.
• Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Lunar Space
• Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the Wearables App on the user’s device.
• Process 2: ​Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store
• On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Wearables App’ and enter search.
• You will see the boAt Wearables app in the search result list.
• Click on the install button to install boAt Wearables app on the user’s media device.

Q: How to connect the Watch Lunar Space with the Wearables App?

• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 10 and above.
• Download the boAt Wearables application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the App and you will find LUNAR SPACE smartwatch in the available device list.

Q: What to do if the smart watch is not able to connect with the App?

• Keep the boAt Wearables app updated to the latest version
• Close all the programs on the watch → Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS → Connect again
• Check and enable the notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.
• Note: Make sure your phone system meets Android 7.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch often disconnects from the watch?

• The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.
• If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.
• Make sure the app is running in background always.

Q: Can I use the watch out of range of my phone’s Bluetooth?

• Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, spO2, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.
• Watch has some internal memory to record this data.
• Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

Q: Which functions of the Lunar Space need Bluetooth to work?

• Functions like Call & Text Notifications, Find My Phone, Music Control, Camera Control, Weather Forecast, Cloud and Custom Watch Faces and Bluetooth Calling need the Bluetooth connectivity to work.

Q: Is the data is taking too long to sync on the app?

• Before using the Watch Lunar Space for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Lunar Space as long as the above norms are followed.

Q: What to do if the calculated number of steps on the app and on the Lunar Space are inconsistent?

Q: How to use Bluetooth calling feature on the watch?

• Open the boAt Wearables app, pair the watch with the app first.
• Once paired you will get the pop up on the app home screen to connect with Phone’s Bluetooth
• Click on “pair” to connect with phone’s Bluetooth
• Alternatively, you can go to phone’s Bluetooth settings and pair “LUNARSPACEBT” to start the calling feature on your watch

Charging & Battery Life

Q: How to charge Watch Lunar Space ?

• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.
• The watch’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.
• Note : If the watch is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V/2A rated power adapter

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.
• Try cleaning the charging pins with an alchohol swab / a cotton bud dipped slighly in sanitizer spirit. Once cleaned, wipe the surface with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on it.
• Ensure that the charger specification is of 5V 2A (Output)

Q: ​ How to check battery charge status?

• ​Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Lunar Space’s battery.

Q: What are the charging norms and guidelines?

• Before using the Watch Lunar Space for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specifications of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Lunar Space as long as the above norms are followed.

Q: How to power On / Off the watch?

• Power On : Long press the upper side button of the Lunar Space, it would lead to turning the watch on
• Power Off : Long press the button located on the upper side of the Lunar Space it would lead to turning the watch off

Display, Features & Performance

Q: Why is the time displayed on my phone and on the Lunar Space are inconsistent?

• Make sure your watch is connected to your phone through the app and not your phone’s Bluetooth feature itself.

Q: How to control the screen brightness?

• Go to the Menu of the watch.
• Inside the menu, select the ‘Setting’ option.
• Inside the ‘Setting’ option, select the ‘Brightness’ option.
• Brightness could be changed as per users required preference

Q: How to change the watch face?

• Rotate the side button to change the watch face

Health, Calling & Microphone

Q: How to troubleshoot if the calling feature is not working on my watch?

• Make sure your watch is connected to both: your App and your the phone’s Bluetooth. If not, search for CALL BT in the phone’s Bluetooth setting, pair the watch with it. Also, make sure that the call notification is enabled from the App.
• In idle mode, the watch will disable the classic Bluetooth 3.0 to save the battery

Q: Is the Watch Lunar Space is receiving no alerts, texts or phone calls?

• Make sure the smart reminders on the app are On and synced to the Lunar Space.
• Also, ensure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then your smart watch will display those notifications.
• Ensure that the App is running in the background and battery optimization feature on the phone is disabled.

Q: What to do if unable to record sleep data or records incorrectly?

• Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.
• Sleep data is estimated primarily by the movements. Once you lay down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.

Q: What to so if the heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well. What can be the issue?

• Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.
• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Q: Why does the watch show the step count even when I am not walking?

• Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

Q: How to track the heart rate?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Heart Rate’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.
• Bring your wrist close to your heart. This will enable the watch to show the heart rate reading of the user on the watch’s screen.

Q: How to access the activity tracker?

• Tap on Health Data to track activities like – Sleep, Calories Burned, Steps, Distance covered and Health Care Data

Device Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Is the watch is not turning On?

• Check if after long pressing the MFB, the watch is switching on or not. Flicking the wrist is enabling waking up the watch display or not.
• Check to charge the watch fully with the magnetic charging cable supplied with it via 5V 2A charging adapter or via a power bank or via a computer.
• Clean the charging pins with an alcohol swab and then connect with the charger to check if the watch started taking charge

Q: Is the lift up gesture not working?

• We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid

Q: What to do if the blood Pressure is not showing accurate data?

• Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

Q: How to navigate to the main menu?

• Short press the upper side button

Q: How to enter in to different modes / options?

• While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Lunar Space
• There are following mode options on the menu of the Lunar Space
• Sport : For tracking the exercises done by the users.
• Dial : To access contacts, phone pad and history.
• Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.
• Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood
• Stress Monitor : To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users
• Alarm : To set up alarm for the users
• Music Control : To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music
• Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need
• Setting : To enter in to the settings of the watch.
• Sleep Monitor : To track sleep of users.
• Find my Phone : To ring the phone when the user is trying to locate their phone connected to the watch.

Q: How to track the exercises?

• There are many different exercises which can be tracked via Sports Mode. Running, Treadmill, Walking, Cycling, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Yoga, Free Movement.
• Select any one of the exercises before starting that particular exercise.
• Press side button to pause/resume that particular exercise.
• To stop that exercise tracking session, press the side button and tap on the X icon.

Q: How to measure the blood oxygen level?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Blood Oxygen’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.
• Try to hold the arm still. This will enable the watch to show the reading of the spO2 in the blood of the user on the watch’s screen

Q: How to control the music?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature.
• While listening to music, users can play, Pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track, and control the volume of the music.

Q: How to access the shortcut menu?

• Swipe down on the homepage would lead to shortcut menu.
• These are the functions in the shortcut menu- DND, Brightness, Timer, Camera, Flashlight and Settings

Q: How to check the notifications?

• Swipe up on the home screen of the watch to review the notifications of the connected media device.
• Swipe up to the last page to delete all notifications

Q: Does the watch have a camera control feature?

• Yes, the Lunar Space has a camera control feature

Q: How many activities modes can be accessed at once?

• There are total 100+ modes that you can select.

Q: Can the vibrations be modified on the watch?

• No, users cannot change the intensity or the number of vibrations for any alert.

Q: There are green lights blinking on the bottom side of the watch. What are those for?

• The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate. There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.

Q: Is my Watch Lunar Space waterproof? Can I use during shower?

• The watch is water-resistant. The water resistance only works if-
• Maximum depth of water: 1.5m
• Maximum time for exposure to water: 10 minutes
• The watch is not suitable for hot bath, hot springs, saunas, snorkeling, diving, water skiing and other wading or deep water activities with high-speed water flow
