Q: How to install the boAt Hub App?

• Wave Leap Call needs boAt Hub app to be installed on the users’ media devices. It is available on
• both Google Play Store and Apple App Store to be downloaded and installed into the users’ devices to
• use and utilize the Wave Leap Calls full functionality-
• Step 1: Via QR Code Scanning
• Find the QR code on the product manual of Wave Leap Call for installing the Hub App on the media devices of the users.
• Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Wave Leap Call.
• Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the Hub App on the user’s device.
• Step 2: Via searching the App on Google Play or Apple Play Store​
• On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search-bar, type ‘boAt Hub App’ and enter search.
• You will see the boAt Hub App in the search result list.
• Click on the install button to install boAt Hub App on the user’s media device.

Q: How to connect the device with the App?

• After installing the boAt Hub app, turn the watch Wave Flex Ultima ON and open the boAt Hub app on the user’s device.
• Click on the ‘Start Setup’ on the boAt Hub app to switch on the Bluetooth on the user’s device.
• The previous process would enable the user to search for the Watch Wave Flex Ultima to connect with the Hub app.
• Once the Watch Wave Flex Ultima is found via Bluetooth, it will show on the Hub app.
• Click on the ‘Wave Flex Ultima’ Device and then click on the ‘Confirm Bind Device’ button to start paring Watch Wave Flex Ultima with the boAt Hub app.
• Once the connection is successful all the fitness data stored on the Watch Wave Flex Ultima will sync automatically on the Hub app.
• To use all the features of the Watch Wave Flex Ultimaseamlessly, tap on ‘Yes’ to the connection and ‘grant access’ system prompt.
• To get the data more accurately, enter all your personal details on the app.
• Note: To ensure connectivity throughout your journey, make sure the app is allowed to run in the background of the phone all the time.​

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is unable to connect with the phone?

• First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 6.0 and above or iOS 13 and above. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and
• permissions including the location services also.
• Download the boAt Hub application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.
• When you open the app, please allow all permissions.
• Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.
• You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enterthe verification code in the app.
• Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Wave Leap Call
• Smartwatch in the available device list. Click on the LEAPCALL\_XXXX to pair the Wave Leap Call Smartwatch with your phone.
• This will complete the pairing process after which the Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch often disconnects from the watch?

• The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.
• If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app,switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.
• Make sure the app is running in background always

Q: Can the user use the smartwatch out of phone’s Bluetooth range?

• Yes, step counting, Heart rate monitoring, calorie count and sports modes can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected
• Watch has some internal memory to record this data.
• Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

Q: What to do if the data is taking too long to sync on the app?

• In order to sync the data to the boAt Hub App, connect the Wave Leap Call to the media device via the Wave app and go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.
• Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and Hub app are nearby when you are syncing the data.
• If the app is taking too long to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.
• Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

Q: Can I use the watch out of range of my phone’s Bluetooth?

• Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, spO2, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your
• phone is not connected.
• ● Watch has some internal memory to record this data.
• ● Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app..

Charging & Battery Life

Q: How to charge the smartwatch?

• Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.
• The watch’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.
• Note:
• If the watch is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V/2A rated power adapter.

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not charging or if the battery life is low?

• ​Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.
• Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab.
• If the problem still persists, kindly replace the product.

Q: ​How to check battery charge status?

• Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Wave Leap Call’s battery.

Q: What are the charging norms and guidelines?

• Before using the Watch Wave Leap Call for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.
• Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
• Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Wave Leap Call as long as the above norms are followed.

Q: How to Power On the watch?

• Long press the button located on the right side of the Wave Leap Call,
• it would lead to turning the watch on
• Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch

Q: ​How to Power Off the watch?

• While the Wave Leap Call is on, long press on the button shut down power off option, this would lead to turning the watch off.

Display, Features & Performance

Q: What to do if the user is not able to adjust volume of the music player?

• Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)
• Note 1: Make sure you enable music control from the app first.
• Note 2: Make sure the watch is connected with the app.

Q: How to change the watch faces on the device?

• Tap on ‘More’ on the home dashboard. Go to Wave Leap Call features> watch Faces. Under the Watch faces option, select the watch face
• you want to set on your watch & click apply.
• There are 4 default watch faces available on the watch.
• Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces,
• Select add your preferred watch face.

Q: How to take care of the touchscreen of the watch?

• Make sure the screen is not scratched anywhere to avoid screen damage as most of the controls are performed via the touchscreen of the watch. As screens are a delicate part it should be handled with care. Users may apply screen protector on the touchscreen to avoid it from any scratches.

Q: How to control the screen brightness?

• Go to the Menu of the watch
• Inside the menu, select the ‘Setting’ option
• Inside the ‘Setting’ option, select ‘Brightness’ option.
• Brightness could be changed as per users required preference. There are three levels of brightness of the screen present in the Wave Leap Call

Health, Calling & Microphone

Q: What to do if the smartwatch is not getting call or message notifications?

• Make sure call alert and message alert are enabled from the app.
• Sync the watch after enabling these features
• Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone
• Try uninstalling and installing the boAt Hub and then start binding process with the watch and check if the issue is still persisting or not.
• Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

Q: What to do if unable to record sleep data or records incorrectly?

• Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.
• Measure your night sleep automatically. Sleep duration and classification details (Deep, light, REM,Awake)are available on the watch and the app.
• Sleep will not be recorded if you have sleep time less than 3 hours
• Sync the watch with the app in the morning to view sleep data
• Note: Data might not be recorded correctly if a lot of movement is noticed between 6-8 AM

Q: What to so if the heart rate monitor is not taking the reading well. What can be the issue?

• Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.
• Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.​

Q: Why does the watch show the step count even when I am not walking?

• Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

Q: How to track the heart rate?

• From the watch home screen > Swipe right to reach the>Heart
• Rate>icon >>Tap on Heart Rate >> Your HR measurement will get started, stay still while HR measurement is in progress and you can
• see the HR value on the screen.

Q: How to access the activity tracker?

• Right swipe on the home page would lead to shortcut menu
• There are four functions in the shortcut menu- (i) Activity Tracker (ii)

Device Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Is the lift up gesture not responding?

• We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.
• The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.
• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Q: Are you not able to control music from your watch?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature.
• While listening to music, users can play, Pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.

Q: Is the auto brightness is not working?

• Make sure you have enabled auto brightness from the watch or the app.
• Auto brightness will only work according to time set on the app.

Q: What to do if the Blood Pressure is not showing accurate data?

• Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

Q: Can I set the goals on the sports mode?

• Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode

Q: There are green and red lights blinking on the bottom side of the watch. What are those for?

• The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate.
• There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.

Q: Can the vibrations be modified on the watch?

• Yes it can be changed in below mentioned modes.

• (i) Sport – For tracking the exercises done by the users.
• (ii) Heart Rate – For measuring the heart rate of the users.
• (iii) Blood Oxygen – For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in
• the user’s blood
• (v) Guided Breathing Mode – For breathing exercise of the users
• (vi) Alarm – To set up alarm for the users
• (vii) Music Control – To control the music from the watch when the users

• Note:- This feature might not work for some of the music apps with

Q: How to track the exercises through sports mode?

• There is total 13 sports modes available in the watch walk, run, cycling, climb, yoga, basketball, football, badminton, skipping, swim, etc. You can access any out of these.
• Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.
• Short press side button and then click on start/pause to start/pause
• that exercise

Q: How to measure the blood oxygen level?

• You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app
• Swipe left from the watch home screen>>Go to SPO2 >> Tap measure.
• Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boat
• Hub app.

Q: How to access the breathe mode?

• This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of
• breathing. Breath exercise (Inhale/Exhale pattern) on the watch
• for selected duration and rhythm
• It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do
• breathing exercises.

Q: How to control the music?

• Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature
• While listening to music, users can play, Pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.

Q: How to access the shortcut menu?

• Short press the dial to reach to the menu.

Q: How to check the notifications?

• Swipe down on the home screen of the watch to review the notifications of the connected media device.
